WHITE CHRISTMAS IN THE WEATHER FORECAST FOR DEEP CREEK LAKE MARYLAND!!!
It’s been a roller coaster of wetaher in the mountains of western Maryland. Three great days of snowshoeing up until last Tuesday and then wham a big thaw. Some of our best storms start off with some rain. Some of the base should withstand and with sno on top conditons could be great for tours though New Years. So far this winter its going great. We like nothing more than posting winter storm watches and warnings for the Deep Creek Lake area! We are hopeful and the long term forecast looks like winter is settling in! This next snow is coming with some wind so it should drift nicely in our back country area.

December 21st Snow Report
Snow storm is coming tonight. Snow in woods has lost some depth from the thaw and the 4-8” tonight should really help. We are booking tours!
