Birds of Prey Program near Deep Creek Lake

Good news! The Birds of Prey are coming back!

New Day, same place, same time.

Thanks to all the wonderful people who attended our past Birds of Prey Programs and everyone who has kept asking for more, we will be hosting weekly, fun learning programs with them once again! Beginning Monday June 10th 2024 and continuing each Monday through August from 10am – 12noon at the beautiful Friendsville Community Park. https://www.friendsville.org/friendsville-river-side-community-park/

Learn about hawks, owls and falcons in this two-hour, fun learning program with Deron and Sherry Meador of Adventures with Raptors.  So many birds, so much fun.

Crede loved these birds of prey and loved his time studying as an apprentice falconer. He would be so happy to know that they are continuing to help people learn more about the natural world.

Just 20 minutes from Deep Creek Lake, MD.

Learn about wild things, learn to love all things wild.
