Edible Plant & Mushroom Identification Field Day

This is a great chance to learn about our local flora and funga! We will discover and identify many unique plants and mushrooms we find locally. We will talk about plant and mushroom identification, the edibility of certain species, the poisonous ones, the nutritional and health benefits we gain from utilizing some of these species, and we will discuss why many of these plants and mushrooms are here and what benefits they serve in our environment. This adventure will allow us to slow down from our everyday chaotic lifestyles and we will get to experience what nature has to offer!
