Easy Walk To The AMAZing Bears Den

Our guided hikes are more than just a 'follow me'. Your guide will teach you about the local plants, and animals, natural resources, the environment and ecology.

This easy 1/2 mile walk is suitable for all ages. The Bears den is an unusual rock formation that is perfect for a short adventure. Kids and adults love exploring it's passageways, and narrow crawl spaces. We stop for a snack (bring your own) and the guide gives a brief talk on Bears and the local Area.

This is a very popular quick hike and adventure for families and groups of mixed age and outdoor experience.

Crede: Thanks for a terrific time.  We really appreciated the hike and all the information you shared about the plants and creatures of the woods.  The boys are still talking about it.  We are home now in Chicago.   We have told a couple of our Deep Creek friends about getting in touch with you for their own hikes.  We will be back in August and are thinking about the kayak trip -- how far in advance would we need book it -- we are still not a 100% sure on our dates?  While in Deep Creek we got your e-mail with the link to the pictures.  They were great too -- you take some nice photos.  Unfortunately when we got home your photo e-mail was no longer in our account -- would you mind resending the link?  We plan to order some photos.
